Mr Trong noted that the ministries of public security in both countries have cooperated effectively in preventing and combating crime, thus contributing to the development of bilateral ties.

The top Vietnamese legislator emphasized that the two countries should increase cooperation in fighting criminal organizations for the benefit of their people. He also hoped that Mr Sengaphone’s visit will enhance the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Mr Sengaphone informed the Vietnamese hosts about the good results of his meeting with the leaders of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security. He said the two ministries have maintained regular exchanges of visits to share experiences, and cooperation between their security agencies has proved efficient.
