While in Laos from May 20-26, the delegation led by deputy head of the commission Le Hong Liem was received by Asang Laoly, Politburo member and Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee. 

Asang Laoly, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection, said the sharing experiences between the two inspection commissions would contribute to strengthening the special and comprehensive cooperation between the parties, states and people of Vietnam and Laos.

He stressed the importance of sharing information on party inspection, implementation of party policies and resolutions as well as the fight against corruption in each country.

Mr Liem spoke highly of the Lao socio-economic development and briefed Asang Laoly on results of the working sessions between the two sides, which, he said, would contribute to strengthening the Vietnam-Laos relationship.
