Cuong expressed his hope that the visit will contribute to strengthening and promoting the relations and mutual understanding between the two departments as well as the two countries’ armies. 

The Lao officer said he was very pleased to visit Vietnam and learn about the history of the country, people and the Vietnam People’s Army. 

He briefed the host on his talks with the head of the office of the General Politics Department of the Vietnam People’s Army.
