The delegation held talks with their Lao counterparts led by Bunpon Buttanavong, Politburo member and Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and head of the Central Committee Office, in Vientiane on February 7.

The two sides agreed their bilateral cooperation has been efficient in recent years.

In the coming time, the two Party offices will continue to enhance relations, implement activities under their plans for 2011-2015 and review some cooperation projects in Laos.

They planned to develop a cooperation project on archiving for 2012-2015, organize exhibitions on the occasion of major events in the Vietnam-Laos solidarity and friendship year 2012.

They agreed to speed up the construction of a cultural house named after President Kaysone Phomvihane in Savannakhet province and a project on application of information technology in LPRP agencies.
