Vietnam always likes to have more Italian investors doing business in Vietnam as Italy has great potential for science and technology development, said President Nguyen Minh Triet at a reception for the general director of Piaggio Vietnam Co,Ltd (PVN), Costantino Sambuy, in Hanoi on July 13.
President Triet highlighted the PVN project to produce Vespas in Vietnam, which will contribute greatly to economic development in the country. He emphasised that Vietnam will create a better investment environment for foreign investors including those from Italy.
Mr Sambuy expressed his belief that the upcoming high-level visit by President Triet late this year will mark a new step of development in the relationship between the two countries.
