Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem will pay an official visit to India from February 25-28 and co-chair the 13th meeting of the Vietnam-India inter-government committee.
The visit will be made at the invitation of Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee, to increase the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, said Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Le Dung.
At the inter-government committee meeting, the two sides will review bilateral cooperation in the field of economics, trade, investment, science and technology, aviation, tourism and education.
They will also adopt the Vietnam-India Action Plan for the 2007-2009 period.
