State Audit of Vietnam (SAV)’s Chief Auditor Vuong Dinh Hue and Comptroller and Auditor General of India Vinod Rai sign a cooperation agreement in Hanoi on August 3.

The signing of the agreement was in the framework of the 42nd session of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Auditing Institutions (ASOSAI), which is taking place in Vietnam from August 4-5.

Under the agreement, the two countries’ audit agencies will strengthen long-term cooperation on the basis of respecting the legal regulations of each country. They will boost exchanges of delegations and coordinate in organising meetings and seminars in this field.

The same day, Chief Auditor Vuong Dinh Hue held separate bilateral meetings with leaders of the state audit agencies of the Republic of Korea, Turkey, India, and Pakistan, and received the Japanese audit delegation.

At these meetings, Mr Hue expressed his wish to foster cooperation with ASOSAI audit agencies, especially in the environment and information technology sectors.
