A delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) is paying a visit to China from June 29-July 4 to boost ties with the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The delegation, led by Nguyen Van Pha, executive member of the VFF Central Committee, held talks with a delegation from the CPPCC led by its Vice General-Secretary Yang Chonghui in Beijing on June 30.

Host and guest exchanged experiences and discussed measures to boost bilateral relations in the years to come.

On July 1, the Vietnamese delegation had a working session with the CPPCC’s Vice Chairwoman Zhang Ronming, during which Pha conveyed VFF Chairman Huynh Dam’s invitation to the host organisation to send a delegation to the 7th Congress of the VFF scheduled for September 28-29.

In reply, Zhang Ronming confirmed that the CPPCC would participate in the congress.

After Beijing, the Vietnamese delegation will visit Shanghai.
