A delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC), led by its chairman Huynh Dam, offered incense to late President Ho Chi Minh at his relic area in the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on February 21.
The event was part of activities to celebrate Tet, the traditional lunar New Year Festival.
VFFCC Chairman Huynh Dam recalled President Ho’s huge contributions to strengthening national unity and called on Vietnamese citizens to study and follow President Ho’s moral example in order to realise the Resolution of the 10th National Party Congress, successfully organise the upcoming 11th National Party Congress and mark the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
He also praised efforts by the armed forces and the public in preserving President Ho’s relic site, which, he said, is a precious asset for coming generations.
