Vietnam denounces wrongful resolutions by US cities
Deputy Spokesperson of Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry Tran Thi Bich Van has criticized the US state of California’s Garden Grove City Council for recently adopting a resolution to discourage representatives and officials from Vietnam visiting the city.
The City Council of Santa Ana is said to approve a similar resolution.
“Such resolutions are wrong and discordant and they run counter to the trend of the two countries’ development relations,” Van told reporters on December 6.
