A visiting Danish senior official has praised the results of cooperation between Denmark and Vietnam, including a support project for the Vietnamese National Assembly.
Permanent Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ulrik Federspiel told Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for External Affairs Vu Mao on March 30 that his on-going visit is aimed at evaluating the efficiency of Denmark-funded projects in Vietnam.
According to Chairman Vu Mao, the National Assembly has played an important role in the country’s accession to the World Trade Organisation thanks to its efforts to improving the legal system in line with international laws and practices.
He expressed his wish that legislative bodies in both countries will further foster relations and exchange law-making experience in the coming time.
