Vietnam is deeply concerned about escalating tensions and newly-emerging military actions targeting Libya, said a spokesperson for the Vietnamese foreign ministry.
These moves will generate implications to the Libyan people’s life, as well as to peace and stability in the region, said spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga on March 20 on Vietnam’s reaction to the latest developments in Libya.
“Vietnam calls on concerned parties to refrain themselves, quickly put an end to military activities, and step up dialogues to seek peaceful solutions that conform to the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international laws and respect independence and sovereignty of all nations,” Nga said.
