Vietnam, Cambodia foster military cooperation
Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Vo Van Tuan has praised recent army engineer cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.
During a reception on October 15 in Hanoi for Nget Norin, Director of the Department of Engineers under the Cambodian Royal Army, Tuan said the two sides need to pay attention to training - one of their key cooperation areas.
Tuan briefed the guest on sending an engineer company on UN peacekeeping missions, and affirmed that Vietnam wanted to share its experiences with Cambodian sapper forces.
