The Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association held a get-together in Hanoi on June 20 to mark the 45th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations (June 24, 1967 – June 24, 2012).
Present among participants were senior officials and diplomats of both countries, as well as Cambodian students in Vietnam and their home-stay members.
They were introduced to a special edition of writings by Vietnamese veterans who had fought on the battlefields in Cambodia and poems and music in praise of the two countries’ time-honoured friendship and comprehensive cooperation over the years.
Representatives of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral ties of friendship and solidarity among people of the two countries.
