A Vietnamese delegation led by Lieutenant General Luu Duc Huy attended the 9th ASEAN Military Intelligence Informal Meeting (AMIIM-9) which opened in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on March 27.

The meeting drew the participation of intelligence leaders of ten member countries.

In his speech, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) cum Director of the RCAF Research and Intelligence Bureau, General Chea Tara, affirmed the importance of cooperating in intelligence to strengthen relations between ASEAN member countries.

Dealing with hidden threats to regional peace and stability remains a constant concern for ASEAN and each member country, he said.

Addressing the event, Lt.
