The event aims to strengthen education and training cooperation between the air forces of ASEAN member countries and promote peace and security in the region.

Air Marshal Hoa said education and training plays an important role in the process of building the ASEAN Community by 2015.

He said the Vietnamese Air Defense and Air Force is ready to share experiences in ensuring flight safety, doing search and rescue work and providing humanitarian and relief aid for victims of natural disasters.
