Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh made this affirmation at a reception for newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Kong Xuanyou on September 12, saying that the Ministry for Foreign Affairs will create favourable conditions for the Ambassador to fulfill his task in the country.

Kong expressed his hope that he will receive strong support from the leaders as well as ministries, sectors and localities of the country, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kong affirmed that in his position of ambassador, he will exert his best efforts to promote the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries, to provide mutual benefits to both countries and contribute to maintaining peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
