The Vietnamese Government will do its utmost to join efforts with Cambodia to develop bilateral ties in a deeper, more practical and effective manner.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung made the statement during his meeting with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hor Namhong, in Hanoi on August 23.
The PM highlighted great potential for cooperation between the two sides, especially in trade, investment, tourism, education and training, and said the two sides need to accelerate bilateral cooperation for mutual benefits.
The two sides should continue to cooperate at the ASEAN forum, contributing to building a prosperous ASEAN community, he said.
