Vietnam aspires to boost ties with Slovenia
VOV.VN - Vietnam sticks importance to and desires to promote ties with traditional partners, including Slovenia, especially in the fields of trade and investment, said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh while receiving Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Pocivalsek in Hanoi on November 8.

The Vietnamese diplomat expressed gratitude to the guest for offering condolences over the death of 39 Vietnamese in the UK, and thanked Slovenia for supporting Vietnam’s bid to become a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2020-2021 term.
The Slovenian guest briefed his host on the outcomes of the second meeting of the inter-governmental committee on economic cooperation and trade between the two countries, which he highlighted as an important event for both sides to further advance bilateral cooperation.
He also hailed Vietnam’s role and potential in the region and voiced support for the early ratification of the two trade deals.
On this occasion, the two sides consented to intensify all level delegation exchange, to offer favourable conditions for their businesses to cooperate and invest in the fields of their strength and demand, and to closely cooperate and offer mutual support at multilateral forums.
