Among the invited guests was Lieut. Gen. Sengmouane Sayalat, Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of the General Political Department of the Lao People’s Army. 

Addressing the function, Vietnam’s Defence Attache to Lao Colonel Nguyen Phu Hai highlighted the Vietname People’s Army achievements in the cause of national defence and construction during the past 67 years.

Hai expressed sincere gratitude to international friends and the State, Army and People of Laos in particular, affirming Vietnam will further strengthen the solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the States and armies of the two countries.
