The agreement was reached at a reception for the LCPS delegation the same day by Truong Tan Sang, Politburo member and permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee.

At the meeting, LCPS President Khamphan Simmalavong informed his host of the fruitful results of cooperation between the two committees over the recent past and their orientations for future cooperation.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Communist Party and the State leadership, Mr Sang highly appreciated the cooperation between the two committees and requested that in the coming time, they focus more on raising the understanding of the youngsters of the ever-lasting friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.

He also suggested both committees actively exchange experience and boost coordination at regional and international forums.
