During the reception in Hanoi, the Vice President said she was very glad to meet them in the capital city on the 32^nd anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam. She highlighted the great efforts made by the provincial leaders as well as the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in helping the martyrs’ families over the past years.

Ms Hoa briefed the heroic mothers on the country’s socio-economic development and asked the provincial leaders to pay more attention to their daily lives.

On behalf of the delegation, Phung Thi Hiet and Ha Thi Can thanked the Party and State and the province for taking care of their material and spiritual lives.

Over the past years, around 813 mothers have been granted the title “Vietnamese Heroic Mother” in Vinh Phuc province.
