During the visit, Senior Lieutenant General Boxiong paid a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. He also held talks with the senior delegation of the Vietnam People’s Army led by General and Defence Minister Phung Quang Thanh who is also Politburo member and the Vice Secretary of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and visited the Vietnam National Defence Academy.
