He expressed his delight at the joint efforts made by the Catholic and Protestant communities in response to the movements launched by the VFF as well as their active contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.

He encouraged them to bring into full play the tradition of patriotism and join hands with other people all over the country to strengthen the bloc of great national unity.
