During the meeting, Mr Nui expressed his wish that the Sangha will continue to encourage its members to contribute to patriotic emulation movements and attach themselves more to national construction for the sake of a prosperous people, a strong nation, and an equitable, democratic and civilized society.

On behalf of the Sangha, Superior Monk Thich Thanh Nhieu thanked the VFF for having paid attention to and created favourable conditions for the Sangha in recent times. He affirmed that the VBS will continue to have its members and Buddhist followers observe Party policies and State laws and take an active part in campaigns launched by the VFF.
