Vu Xuan Hong gave his thanks to Jesse Walter Radman Kivette for his contributions to humanitarian and development work in Vietnam in recent times.

Hong added that his contributions have played an important role in boosting the mutual friendship between Vietnam and the US.

The awarded director expressed hope to have closer ties with the People’s Aid Coordinating Committee (PACCOM) through information exchanges and the sponsorship and implementation of projects in Vietnam.

Jesse Walter Radman Kivette previously held his post as vice chairman of Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (SPIR – USA). Since 2002, as a programme manager for the East Meets West Foundation, he has raised big sums of sponsorship money from giant corporations and from the US government to invest in projects in Vietnam, many of which are aimed at upgrading the country’s education and health infrastructure.
