Thailand, Vietnam strengthen legislative cooperation
Vietnam and Thailand should further increase exchanges and contacts between their legislative bodies’ senior officials and parliamentarian groups, thus promoting mutual understanding and comprehensive cooperation.
National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan made the suggestion while receiving Secretary General of the Senate of Thailand Norarut Pimsen in Hanoi on June 20.
In the future, the two sides need to share legislative experience to improve their staff’s professional capacity, she added.
Pimsen said her visit is to strengthen cooperation and experience exchanges between the Vietnamese NA Office and the Thai Senate Secretariat.
She expressed her wish that the Vietnamese NA will continue supporting experience sharing activities between the two agencies.
