Kent R. Hance, Chancellor of the Texas Tech University System briefed his guest on the university’s operations and said many of its graduates now hold important positions in local administrations and big businesses.
He said besides a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training, Texas Tech wants to attract more Vietnamese students majoring in agriculture, business administration, communications, medicine, and law. He said his university encourages its schools to increase student and lecturer exchange programmes with their Vietnamese counterparts.

Mr Dung also met with David Miller, Vice Chancellor of the Texas Tech University System, PhD Stephen Maxner, Director of the Vietnam Centre, and Sandra L. Crosier, Director of the Office of International Affairs.
