Leaders of the Vietnamese and Israeli capital cities have agreed to boost cooperation in many fields in the near future, at a working session between Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao and Mayor of Tel Aviv Ron Huldal in Hanoi on January 4.

The two sides discussed details of cooperation in the fields of hi-tech application in agricultural production, urban planning and management and transport organization and operation. 

In the coming time, the two cities will host cultural and student exchanges to strengthen mutual understanding. 

Mayor Huldal affirmed that Tel Aviv is ready to cooperate with Hanoi in the fields of its strength, especially in the training of experts in science-technology, and technological application in rural development. 

The same day, Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi said at a reception for Mayor Huldal that he believes the visit will contribute to further promoting cooperation between the two capital cities in economics, science-technology, trade and investment. 

As part of the visit to Hanoi from Jan. 3-9, the delegation paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh and will visit several historical sites and popular tourist attractions in the city.
