During her stay, the Vice President laid a wreath at the statue of late President Ho Chi Minh and visited the Ho Chi Minh section in the Museum of History in Montreuil on the outskirts of Paris. She highlighted the contributions made by international friends in preserving historic objects related to his activities in France.

Ms Doan also met with representatives from the France-Vietnam Friendship Association (AAFV) which aid they would continue to support Vietnam’s dioxin/AO victims.

At a meeting with staff from the Vietnamese embassy in France and representatives from the Vietnamese Residents’ Association in France, Ms Doan briefed them on Vietnam’s achievements in the past as well as the outcomes of the Francophone Summit recently held in Switzerland.

On the occasion, the Vietnamese community in France have presented EUR8,370 to help flood victims in the central region in Vietnam.
