Mr Triet expressed his pleasure at the improvement in the living conditions of former volunteer living in Binh Duong. He also called for provincial authorities to pay more attention to the families of social policy beneficiaries.

The President emphasised that people in Binh Duong had suffered numerous hardships and a great losses of human life during past struggles against foreign aggressors. The Party, State and people are always grateful to those people, who served the nation’s revolutionary cause. Taking care of revolutionary veterans is the responsibility of the whole of society, he noted.

Mr Triet also highlighted Binh Duong’s rapid economic growth, which is partially due to war veterans. He asked the province to develop local economy, while maintaining social order and security.
