•  Indonesian ambassador honoured

President Sang expressed his satisfaction with the development of Vietnam-Indonesia cooperation in all fields and highlighted Mr. Purnomo’s contributions to boosting the bilateral relationship.

He also congratulated Indonesia on its successful organisation of the 18^th ASEAN Summit and the 44th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Mr. Sang praised Indonesia’s socio-economic development over the past years and said he believes Indonesia will carry on progressing steadily in the future.

Vietnam has always attached great importance to enhancing ties with Indonesia, said the State leader, adding that he hopes the ambassador will continue to contribute to enhancing the Vietnam-Indonesia friendship.

Ambassador Purnomo conveyed Indonesian President Susilo Bambang’s congratulations to Mr. Sang on his election as Vietnamese President, and complimented Vietnam’s high economic growth, despite the global economic depression.
