While paying a Tet visit to the province on February 1, President Triet asked the provincial Party Committee to take measures to ensure political security and social orders to facilitate socio-economic development, turning Dong Nai into a leading province of the southern key economic zone.

The same day, President Triet visited workers and staff of the VISSAN Limited Company, a member company of Saigon Trading Corporation (SATRA).

President Triet welcomed the strong development of the company, one of the country’s largest food processing enterprises.

The company should invest more in technology, expand production, diversify its products, increase competitiveness and develop markets to build VISSAN into a popular brand name in local and world markets, he said.

The President also visited the Ho Chi Minh City delegation of National Assembly Deputies to wish them a happy new year.
