The event will focus on assessing the world’s political situation and issues of mutual concern to member countries, measures to cope with the negative impact of the economic crisis and global challenges such as climate change and food security.

The summit will also map out an action plan on political, economic and social cooperation, and consider recommendations issued at the Non-Aligned Movement Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Havana, Cuba, in April.
