Mr Hua emphasized this while offering incense to the late President’s relic area in the Presidential Palace on August 29 as part of activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the August Revolution.
He said that Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts will continue to serve as a beacon for the Vietnamese revolution and the Vietnamese people on the path to a brighter future.
Speaking to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum staff, To Huy Rua praised their efforts in preserving the late president’s precious mementos and receiving millions of visitors.
Mr Hua expressed hope that the staff will continue to pass on Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts and ethics to the country’s people as well as international friends.
Over the last three years, the mausoleum has welcomed more than six million visitors, including nearly 1,300 delegations from various organizations.
