Scientists and cultural experts nationwide have discussed the legal basis of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Truong Sa archipelago at a symposium in the south central coastal province Khanh Hoa.
In 13 presentations delivered on June 15 in connection with the cultural values of Vietnam’s seas and islands, they proposed measures to protect life on the Truong Sa island district.
They highlighted Khanh Hoa’s tourism potential and its efforts to come with challenges to the sustainable development of tourism industry.
They emphasized the need to build sea-related museums and classify maritime cultural heritages in Khanh Hoa province as well as in the country.
