At the reception, Khanh, who is also Chairman of the Vietnam subcommittee of the CVRTC, affirmed that the Vietnamese army and people have always attached importance to developing the traditional friendship and cooperation with Russia. 

Through the CVRTC, bilateral cooperation in tropical durability, ecology and biomedicine has been implemented effectively, helping strengthen the friendship between the two countries’ armies and people, he said. 

He expressed his belief that at the 24th session of the committee, Vietnamese and Russian scientists will set higher targets for their scientific research cooperation. 

Dmitry Sergeyevich said the visit provided a good chance for the two sides to review cooperation results over the past time and put forth orientations to boost cooperation in future.
