The Russian news agency underlined the importance of Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet’s current visit to Belarus.

Since President Alexander Lukashenko paid two official visits to Vietnam, in 1997 and 2008, the two countries have seen effective cooperation in economics and trade, said ITAR-TASS.

Vietnam imports lorries, tractors, tyres, tubes, and bearings from Belarus, while exporting raw rubber, seafood, rice, cashews, footwear, garments, textiles, tea, and coffee.
