At a meeting with the province’s leaders, he highly appreciated the recent achievements gained by the Quang Tri’s Party Committee, authorities and people.

He also emphasised that the main task now is to propose action plans for the implementation of the resolutions of the 15^th provincial Party Congress and the 11^th National Party Congress, as well as implement the set political mission, focusing on socio-economic development.

Mr. Sang noted that Quang Tri needs to make a breakthrough in boosting its economy, particularly the southeast marine economic zone, and invest in projects that manufacture specific products.

In the agricultural sector, the province should pay attention to the processing of products and creating favourable conditions for farmers to buy stock in businesses, developing the Lao Bao special economic zone and effectively exploiting the advantages of the east-west economic corridor, he said.
