The Party leader made this request during a two day Tet visit to the province on January 14 and 15. He also highlighted the province’s determination to build a prosperous Quang Ngai.

Mr Trong asked it to develop aquaculture by promoting investment in processing enterprises and boosting cooperation in fishing to support each other and protect the nation’s sovereignty over its sea and islands.

**Also on January 15, Le Hong Anh, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, paid a New Year's visit to the central province of Thua Thien-Hue while Politburo member Ngo Van Du, Head of the Central Inspection Commission visited the northern province of Hoa Binh.
