The event was organised by the RoK Embassy  in coordination with the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

Addressing the seminar, Park Suk Hwan, the RoK’s Ambassador to Vietnam expressed his high appreciation of Vietnam-RoK and RoK-ASEAN strategic partnerships.

The RoK now ranks second in list of countries and territories with direct investment in Vietnam with total registered capital of US$22 billion.

Cultural exchanges between the two countries are promoted, including the establishment of more RoK’s cultural centre in ASEAN countries.   

Delegates focused their discussions on the future orientation for Vietnam-RoK strategic partnership, cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries, the prospects of Vietnam-RoK free trade agreement, and RoK-ASEAN cooperation: its vision and action plan.
