Promoting foreign-related information dissemination and cultural diplomacy in Hungary
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao hosted a reception for Dr. Levente Horváth, Director of the Eurasia Center, and Editor-in-Chief of the Eurasia Magazine of John von Neumann University aimed at promoting educational cooperation, foreign-related information dissemination, and cultural diplomacy between the Embassy and the Magazine.
Dr. Levente Horváth expressed his thank for cooperation between the Embassy and the Magazine in recent times, especially the Ambassador's exclusive interview published in the latest issue of Eurasia magazine about traditional friendship, solidarity, multi-faceted cooperation, and comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Hungary on the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's official visit to Hungary made in January.
He stated that this is also a good first step for the cooperative relationship between the Embassy and the magazine and expressed his wish that the two sides continue to cooperate more closely on aspects such as enhancing educational cooperation between John von Neumann University and Vietnamese universities.
The Journal will also publish many articles about Vietnam, from the perspective of Vietnamese people to the fields of economics, politics, culture, tourism, and cuisine so as to increase the understanding and information of the Hungarian people about Vietnam's achievements in innovation and development in recent times.
For her part, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Thao shared that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Hungary that has developed over the past 70 years is regularly reinforced and built through the visits of senior leaders.
She expressed the embassy's willingness to cooperate in providing updated information on Vietnam's development situation to a wide range of Hungarian readers, aiming to create closer bonds, narrow the cultural gap, and build trust as a contribution to promoting economic development, trade, tourism, and labor between the two countries.
There will be important events regarding the relationship between the two countries in the time ahead, especially the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Hungary relations in 2025, alongside cultural, economic, and business cooperation, and exchange visits, the Vietnamese diplomat said, while expressing her desire to continue to cooperate with the Magazine.
In response, Dr. Levente Horváth showed his elation to be able to dedicate a separate issue to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Vietnam - Hungary relations (1950-2025).
