Promoting communication and education work

• Politburo member asks for better forecasting

Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) and Head of its Commission for Communication and Education, made the statement at a two-day conference held in Danang city on January 13-14 to review communication and education work in 2011 and put forth tasks for 2012.

He affirmed that the communication and education sector will continue to strengthen the nation’s political system and implement the 11^th National Party Congress Resolution, with a focus on Party building.

Participants at the conference stressed the need to improve the forecasting capacity and increase the effectiveness of political research, as well as fighting negative phenomena and the degradation of political ideology, ethics, and lifestyles.

On the occasion, the Commission for Communication and Education also honoured individuals and organizations who made significant contributions to the sector during the past year.
