PM Dung was welcomed by leaders of the Indonesian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture, as well as the Vietnamese ambassador to Indonesia Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Vietnamese ambassador to ASEAN Vu Dang Dung, and their staff.

Mr. Dung’s visit affirms Vietnam’s policy to consider Indonesia an important partner in Southeast Asia and its desire to raise the relationship between the two countries to a strategic partnership.

An official reception is scheduled to take place at the Presidential Palace and both leaders will discuss ways to consolidate and develop relations in all fields as well as bilateral resolutions for problems and regional issues of mutual concern.
