Speaking at the office’s conference in Hanoi on December 26, Mr Triet praised the office’s cadres and staff for their efforts to fulfil assignments in 2006, particularly their recommendations to the President and Vice President in internal and external affairs.
Delegates reviewed the office’s operations in 2006 and worked out tasks for 2007.

President Triet presented the Independence Order, first class, to former chairman of the office Nguyen Canh Dinh, and the Independence Order, second class, to vice chairman of the office Nguyen Van Bich and advisor to the President Mai Ngoc Trinh.
