The State leader highlighted the Minister’s visit, made at the invitation of Head of the Presidential Office Nguyen Van Chien. He said it will reinforce the traditional relationship, solidarity, and the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

President Mr. Triet said he hopes the two countries’ presidential offices will continue promote delegation exchanges, close cooperation, and mutual assistance to make greater improvement in both countries.

Phongsavath Boupha informed President Triet of the outcome of his working session with his Vietnamese counterpart, Mr. Chien, and expressed his hope to strengthen ties with Vietnamese Presidential Offices.

He conveyed the best regards of Laotian President Chummaly Sayasone to President Triet.
