In his speech, the Chairman of HCM City’s Labour Confederation, Nguyen Huy Can, reviewed the revolutionary activities of President Ton Duc Thang- an exemplary communist who devoted all his life to the cause of national liberation for people’s happiness.

He was a shining example of revolutionary morals- modesty, simplicity, industriousness, thriftiness and honesty, Can said.

On the occasion, the Ton Duc Thang Museum in coordination with the Con Dao relics management board has displayed 130 objects and photos featuring the undaunted fighting spirit of revolutionary soldiers under the shackles of the enemy.

The exhibition on Con Dao prison from 1930-1945 is open until the end of February next year.
