President sends condolences to Russia over plane crash

President Truong Tan Sang on March 19 cabled a message of condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over a plane crash at an airport in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.

The low-cost carrier Fly Dubai’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 62 people on board crashed on early March 19 during a landing attempt, Russian officials said.

All the 55 passengers and seven crew members were killed after the tragedy.
