President congratulates new Chairperson of African Union

President Tran Dai Quang sent a congratulatory message on February 8 to President of the Republic of Guinea Alpha Conde on his election as the new Chairperson of the African Union.

Alpha Conde was elected to the position at the union’s 28th Ordinary Session in Ethiopia on January 30.
