President Sang made the affirmation at an April 5 reception for Russia’s Gazprom Corporation Alexei Miller, who briefed the President on the fruitful Gazprom-PetroVietnam cooperation in recent years.

He thanked Gazprom for its support to Vietnam’s oil and gas industry, saying it is the symbol of the traditional Vietnam-Russia friendship.

He also expressed his pleasure at the good results in bilateral cooperation, especially in political relations, after more than a decade of implementing their strategic partnership.

For his part, Miller said Gazprom, with its experience and prestige, will contribute to fostering oil and gas cooperation between the two countries, as well as strengthening their strategic partnership.
